Welcome to the Collective Rays of Light
As sentient beings, we know and we feel that there is much change going on worldwide in the times in which we are living. In the midst of the times of epidemics, crime, pestilence, poverty and war, we know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. to make it to the light we must put in collective effort into the remedy instead of focusing on the problem in which we are facing. The purpose of this blog site is to raise awareness and to help more of us in becoming conscious of the times and what the Great Spirit demands of us. The God of all Gods whom many religions, traditions and cultures call by many names, no matter the name we give to the Creator, we all collectively carry a spark of his light within us. This light must triumph, only through sacrificing all things lowly. The progress of humanity is in process as the globe reaches the end of the tunnel which can be likened to the end of the dark times, the end of war, doubt and all manner of suffering. It is a fact that if each being can contribute to the uplifting of mankind through creative endeavors (using our talents and creativitv ideas to make a change) we will eventually find that those in our reach will improve dramatically. Some people basically need people to communicate and build with, some are in need of a meal to get by, some homeless people on the street might not mind working to rebuild his or her life and getting back on their feet might only depend on whether we are willing to point them in the right direction.
I am moved by this excerpt from Oahspe, where God, the son of Jehovih gives a new religion. A religion of selflessness, of true charity and service unto others.
Book of Judgement chapter 19
21. Now, behold, I come in this era, not only to declare to you, that the time of preaching is at an end, except where it is practiced in deed as it is spoken in word, but also to prophesy to you, that many of you will give up your calling, and preach no more.
.22. And your temples, churches and meeting-houses shall be turned into consultation chambers, to find remedies against poverty, crime and debauchery.
.23. And the congregations shall be enrolled, and, at the meetings, they shall be inquired after, to see if they are in need. And they shall have volunteers, who shall go about seeking out the helpless and distressed.
24. So that, instead of the congregations sitting to hear your sermons, they shall come as co-workers for Jehovih’s children.
.25. This is the new religion, which I give to you; and, moreover, let it be a prophecy to you of the words of your God. For there is no such congregation this day in the entire world; and yet, before this generation passes away, this shall be proven before you.
This passage is the inspiration for the aim of this blog. The purpose is to find ways in which we can serve the community by collectively being rays of light which will in return light the light of those in need of our services.
We all have our talents and gifts in which we can use to uplift others in our reach, lets make it happen.
Feel free to share your thoughts, comments and questions
Thanks for starting this blog. As the hymn says, "There's a light that is shining in the heart of man, It's the light that was shining when the world began." You help us remember that we are one in the light.
ReplyDeleteWe truly are one in the light, we are born into different forms but we are one. And thanks Ellie, I appreciate your comment. The question I now pose is how do we move forward to make a difference in the community?
DeleteTHE INVISIBLE CREATURE
ReplyDeleteBy Diane Faison-Mckinzie
The invisible creature hides in the most unsuspecting places. It wraps its body around door knobs, on the bottom of that grocery bag hoping to make a resting bed on the kitchen counter. Can you see the creature? Not I. If you say you can, those words are a lie.
This creature that we cannot see, or gives us warnings that it is coming, uses strategies that are secrets to us. Our normal lives are “no more”, even our everyday tasks we cannot trust.
The invisible creature sneaks around seeking whose body it can destroy, looking for ways to create “fear”, in the streets, in the stores, in our homes, and even in our own bodies, now that we feel we can’t even trust. Fight! We must!
The steering wheel of your car, the money someone hands you, the grocery cart’s handle, and the medicine you picked up at the drugstore in a container, become transportation for the invisible creature to ride. Where, oh where, will it next hide?
Who is this invisible creature that I speak of, that we all are running from? Its name is COVID-19! A creature none of us have ever seen. It is big, It is strong, it is ugly and it is MEAN!
We must flood our lives with prayer, well-planned strategical moves, be always on the lookout, for the creature’s possible attack, and remember God has our back.
I appreciate your comment, Covid definitely is a mean killing machine. Though it seems to be slowing down as time progress. The question i would like to ask you is, what world do you see us living in after covid have been defeated? Do you see us mortals going back to normal, or do you see or would like to see people working together to rebuild a better world. And where do you fit in, what can you contribute to the CHANGE or the PROGRESS that is on wheels waiting for us to take initiative in driving forward?
ReplyDeleteI don't think we can ever go back to our "old normal". We have a "new normal" now. Even though COVID is awful, it has taught us how precious this life God has gifted us with. COVID has already put on a new disguise, referring to the new variant that the medical world has informed us about. The "new normal" has caused me to get a 3rd booster shot, that definitely was not in the "old normal". I would like to see people work together for a better world, and as you know, that is always a work in progress. COVID, I believe has brought to the forefront the need for us to look out for each other no matter race, culture, or religion. As far as what I can contribute to the change of where we are today, is something I am constantly searching for, but knowing that I cannot make any significant change alone, it must be a group effort, meaning our society. Prayer, christian efforts or works, and holding our fellow man in the light is an action we can all do.
